Alcohol Sanction is an individual-level intervention designed to be an education and awareness program to change student knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors related to alcohol and impaired driving.  Students hear from 11 speakers who share the ripple effect of someone's choice to drive impaired.  But it’s not just stories - it is also a comprehensive curriculum that requires their active engagement.

College-aged, young adults are drinking, they are engaging in impaired driving, and they are in the age group responsible for the most alcohol-related traffic fatalities.  Alcohol Sanction changes student knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors related to alcohol now.  Our goal is to ultimately help them establish life-long, safe practices that they can maintain once they leave campus.

Since 2011, over 70,000 people have heard these same stories and a similar curriculum via our other program YouImpact - Online Victim Impact Panel.  YouImpact operates as a court-ordered program for individuals who've engaged in impaired driving.  We seek feedback from every graduate, and we frequently hear the same comment, “I wish I had heard this when I was younger… I never thought about how my choices could impact others…”  While YouImpact - Online Victim Impact Panel is a successful intervention, it’s always been reactive to the problem of impaired driving.  Our goal is for  Alcohol Sanction to exist as a preventative program. 

The cost is covered fully by the student, which means there are no requirements for any type of contract.  We also provide direct support to students who may need help with registering or completing the program.  We can provide your school with monthly statements showing program graduates.
